Our Purpose: For more than one hundred and fifty years, Barber-Scotia College has been a productive entity in

Concord, North Carolina, and the surrounding communities. Throughout its long history of existence,

its alumni have always played a significant role.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Association shall be to promote the welfare of Barber-Scotia College,

perpetuate and broaden her sphere of influence, and promote a mutually beneficial relationship

between Barber-Scotia College and her alumni.

Objectives of the Alumni Association

• To improve and promote the interest, image, and principles of the Institution

• Encourage and emphasize close relationships with current students, former students, and graduates

• Develop and foster meaningful financial support to the Institution, its programs, and activities.
